Kentucky’s Racing Industry since 1989.

Untreated chemical addiction (alcohol and drugs) never gets better, only worse.

THE SOLUTION IS TREATMENT

The Thoroughbred Addiction Council of Kentucky offers a no cost or low cost evaluation, detoxification and treatment programs to assist those who are working in Kentucky’s thoroughbred industry, on the track and the farm, who are suffering from alcohol and drug dependency.
 

TACK has been recognized with the
“GOVERNOR’S AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE”
for our involvement with alcohol and drug
abuse problems in Kentucky’s racing industry.


What is treatment?
T.A.C.K.’s counseling professionals provide the following confidential care:

  • Evaluation
  • Detoxification
  • Education and orientation
  • Counseling and case management
  • Change of environment
  • Change of attitude
  • Behavior modification
  • Referral

T.A.C.K.’s treatment professionals are all credentialed counselors with one or more of the following certifications:

  • CADC
  • Kentucky Certified
  • Nationally Certified
  • Forensics
  • Licensed clinical social worker

All operating under the 12 core functions of alcohol and drug counseling.
